Dennis Strovers, age 76, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away March 26, 2024 in Andover, KS.
The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
Dennis was born on April 14, 1947 to Lester and Alice (Allen) Strovers in Grinnell, Iowa. He worked at Pella Windows and Doors for over 20 years as a production worker and then worked for Ft. Des Moines Museum as a grounds keeper before he retired. He loved riding his motorcycle and traveling the country in his camper, tinkering in his shed, and he always had his little dog Choo-e as his sidekick. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his son Chris Strovers of Knoxville, IA; daughter Nova Strovers of Ponca City, OK; sisters Mary Farleigh of Torrance, CA, Betty Steehoek of Newton, IA, Peggy Farver of Newton, IA, Jean Clubb of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Beverly Strovers of Oroville, CA; brothers Kenny Strovers of Hawaii, and David Strovers of Apache Junction, AZ; grandsons Anthony Murrell of Ponca City, OK, and Austin Strovers of Knoxville, IA; and many many nieces and nephews, too numerous to name.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Alice; brothers Lester Jr, Jim, Dale, and Wayne; and sisters Dorothy and Janice.
