Wanda Fay Sherwin, 85, a lifelong resident of Osage County, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. A viewing will be held at Trout Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Wanda was born on June 26, 1941, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to John W. and Viola Faye (Eaton) Pruett. She graduated from high school and later worked as a produce manager in the grocery industry.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Her love for Jesus and her family was the foundation of her life, and nothing was more important to her than those she held dear. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Lucas and husband Wade, Tina Imhoff and husband Danny, Christopher Sherwin and wife Christina, and Truman Sherwin and wife Michelle; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Viola Pruett; two daughters, Rhonda Sherwin and Deborah Hunt; and all seven of her siblings.
Wanda’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
