Thomas J Lamirand was born on February 5th, 1947 at Shawnee Oklahoma. Tom was the son of T J and Deloris (Patterson) Lamirand. Tom passed away on October 9th, 2026 at Stillwater Hospital in Stillwater Oklahoma.
Tom attended Civil Engineering at OSU. He graduated from OSU with an M.S. in Civil Engineering. He went to work for the Natural Resources Conservation Service where he retired. He then worked for M & E Consultants for 11 years.
Tom is survived by his sons Nathan Lamirand of Tecumseh Oklahoma and Vince Lamirand of Oklahoma City. His brothers, Gerald Lamirand of Louisiana and Charles (Mike) Lamirand of Edmond Oklahoma. His grandson Trevin Lamirand of Englewood, Colorado and two great granddaughters.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and by his oldest son Troy Lamirand of Vermont. Tom was also preceded in death by his good friend Donna Brorsen
To spent his life devoted to Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. His faith remained an important part of his life.
Memorial service will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Perry, at 11am Tuesday, October 27. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry.
