Teresa Lynn Ray

Teresa Lynn Ray, 71, of Shidler, Oklahoma, passed away on September 5, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on April 20, 1955, to Mae and Jesse Vaden. Teresa loved being a homemaker and she devoted herself to the people she loved most. She found joy in the simple and meaningful parts of life: fishing, gardening, caring for her chickens, and canning. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren, and her family was at the heart of all she did.She is survived by her husband, Bobby Poulter, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage; her brother Joe Dean Vaden of Lawton, Oklahoma; her children Aaron (Christi) Ray of Shidler, Oklahoma, Travis Ray of Shidler, Oklahoma, and Shannon (Matthew) Eads of Newkirk, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren Junior Ray, Jesse Ray, Brittnee (Kassidi) Stierwalt, Cidney Collyar, Kiley Collyar, Cpl. Wrangler Collyar, Braden Eads, Christopher Eads, and Clara Whitefield. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mae (Chauteau) Vaden, and her father, Jesse Vaden.Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N 14th St, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601. A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Friday, September 11, 2026, at Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City, Oklahoma.Teresa Lynn Ray will be remembered for her love of family, her caring nature, and the comfort she created in the everyday moments of life. Her presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
