Sheryl Kim Alsip, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on May 11, 2026, in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Born on February 7, 1956, in Arkansas City, Kansas, Kim's life was marked by her sweetness, kindness, and unwavering compassion. She carried herself with a grace born of genuine care for those around her, living her days filled with honesty and loving spirit through her faith in the Lord.Kim was known for her delightful wit and sense of humor, often bringing smiles and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her. Music played a significant role in her life; she deeply enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music and attending memorable concerts, where she found joy and inspiration. Beyond music, Kim took great pride in tending to her home, finding fulfillment in nurturing the environment that surrounded her with love and care.She is survived by her son Eric, grandson Anthony Andrews, and two great grandchildren, her sister, Lesa Wesbrook (Richard), along with cherished nephews Frank Alsip IV and Clint Wesbrook, niece Rachel Anstine (Jarrod), and great-nieces Whitley and Chayden Wesbrook. Kim is preceded in death by her father, Frank Alsip Jr., her mother, Marlene (Cook) Alsip, and her brothers Scott and Frank III.Among Kim's proudest accomplishments was her devoted care for her Tuff Cat of 23 years. This companionship brought her immense comfort and happiness throughout the years.A memorial service will be held on May 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Parker Cemetery, 10189 292nd Road, in Arkansas City, Kansas.Sheryl Kim Alsip will be remembered as a woman whose kind heart, musical soul, and enduring spirit enriched the lives of those around her.
