Robert “Bobby” Dale Godbehere, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, passed away September 8, 2026, in Rogers, Arkansas, at the age of 75.

Robert Dale Godbehere was born on November 16, 1950, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Daniel B. and Leta Mae (Rusher) Godbehere. He attended Blackwell Public Schools, graduating with the Blackwell High School class of 1969. He would go on to receive an associate’s degree from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and later receive his bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma.

He was a rancher and farmer before anything, from his childhood until his retirement. Throughout his years, he would also wear various other hats: Realtor; Research and Development at Conoco; etc.

Robert would enjoy spending time with his kids, helping them with FFA as a mentor. He also like to get away from it all every now and then, enjoying Camping, Cruising, and traveling the open road.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel B. and Leta Mae Godbehere.

He is survived by his domestic partner, Tom Worley; his son, Ryan Godbehere and wife Sarah of Washington, Oklahoma; daughter, Krista Thomas and husband Joseph of Augusta, Kansas; daughter, Brook Carter of Stratford, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Katlyn Voss, Taner Thomas, Aiden Godbehere, Tucker Maxwell, Jase Thomas, Cora Mae Peden, and Jack Godbehere; great-grandchildren: Journey Jo Voss, Sterling Thomas, Troy Voss, Lennox Godbehere; brothers, Don W. Godbehere of Blackwell, and Daniel R. Godbehere of Blackwell.

A Private Family Service will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, at Roberts and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Sam Simmons officiating. Burial to follow at Blackwell Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert’s honor may be made to the Good Shepherd Humane Society of Berryville, Arkansas, c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
