Randall Chrisler

Randall Lee “Randy” Chrisler of Shidler, Oklahoma, was born July 16, 1964, in Winfield, Kansas, to Duane Clement and Patricia May (Lawrence) Chrisler.

Randy grew up showing Hereford cattle through 4-H and FFA. He attended Winfield High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Kansas State University. During his college years, he worked at a feedyard in Kansas.

Randy made his living in the livestock business, raising his own cattle and caring for his horses. He loved riding and calling pens at Winfield Livestock Auction and Newkirk Farmers and Ranchers. He was always glad to lend a hand to friends and neighbors, whether they needed help working or hauling cattle or a little welding on a project.

Randy had a soft spot for his dogs, Blue, Boots, Buster, and Spanky. He loved his family with all his heart, and his grandchildren, Kaidynce and Joey, held a special place in it.

Randy is survived by his son, Cody Chrisler, and Cody’s wife, Jayden, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, along with Cody’s mother, Denise Lobsinger, of Newkirk, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kaidynce and Joey, and his sister, Karen Poole, of Winfield, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Patricia Chrisler, and his grandparents, John S. and Mildred Irene Lawrence and Oren and Hettie Belle Chrisler.

Services will be held November 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Winfield Sale Barn in Winfield, Kansas, and November 29 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Riding High in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
