Patricia Sodowsky

Patricia Ann Sodowsky was born on September 22, 1935, to Russell and Mildred (Weise) Clinton, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She received her education through Blackwell Public Schools. She married Donald Sodowsky and they made their home in Blackwell, and raised seven kids together.

Patricia cooked and waitressed for several establishments, and would later go on to work for Conoco, retiring in August 2013.

She enjoyed working with her hands: crocheting, sewing, and cooking. She would crochet blankets for her family and many of her friends—and for many events. She also loved solving crossword puzzles. She was an avid OU Sooners football fan, watching any game with a well-known OU quarterback.

She had a very strong love for her family. She would regularly give rides and had a house full of grandkids. On Saturdays, she always had a hair appointment with her favorite hairdresser, Mary—then would pick the grandkids up and head to Walmart.

She was a member of the Bethesda Assembly of God in Blackwell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; her sister, Loretta Ramsey; her brother, Ronald Clinton; and her brother Russell Clinton.

She is survived by her children: Debbie Perkins (Roland); Patsy LeForce (Harry); Donna Peterson; Rusty Sodowsky (Denise); Amy Sodowsky (Danny); Karen Sodowsky (Keith); and Jason Sodowsky; her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Patricia will be held at 1:00 PM on Thrusday, August 27, 2026, in the Bethesda Assembly of God, Blackwell, Oklahoma, with Rev. John West, III officiating.

Pallbearers include Chris Sodowsky, Ethan Sodowsky, Brandon Sodowsky, Cody Sodowsky, Josh Denton, Treyton Sodowsky, Colby Peterson, Clay Lopez, Jace Lopez, and Pierce Kuhn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s honor to the Bethesda Assembly of God, c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
