Martha Jane Keeler

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Jane Keeler, who entered her heavenly home on July 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Martha was born on November 27, 1943, in Oxnard, California, to James Henry and Gladys Marie Chambers.Martha was married to the love of her life, Otis Duane Keeler, for 19 years until his passing on September 20, 1986. Together, they built a family and a life rooted in hard work, faith, perseverance, and love. While Martha worked tirelessly throughout her life—holding positions at Phil's Cafeteria, A&W Drive-In, Blue Moon, First National Bank, and ultimately building and growing Keeler Equipment for more than 50 years. Her determination and strength were evident in everything she did, especially in the successful business that Martha built through decades of dedication.Martha was a woman of unwavering determination, deep faith, and unconditional love. She faced life's challenges with strength, resilience, and a steadfast belief that there was always a way forward. If a problem needed solving, Martha would find a solution. She never accepted "no" as the final answer and possessed a remarkable ability to persevere through difficulties that would have discouraged many others.Martha was also a devoted Christian and faithful member of Central Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Her faith guided her daily life and shaped the way she cared for others. She lived her beliefs through kindness, generosity, hard work, toughness, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.Martha is survived by her brother, Bobby Joe Chambers of Spokane, Washington; her sister, Barbara Jean Smart of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her children, Micky Dale Keeler and wife Pamela DeAnn Keeler of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Duane Matthew Keeler and wife Lindsey Keeler and stepson Trevor Westfall of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Christi Diane Keeler of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Tammy Rose Keeler of Yukon, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law.She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Brynna Marie Heeter (Keeler) and husband Ryan Keith Heeter of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Mackenzie Diane Keeler of Wichita, Kansas; Kelsey Diane Butler (Keeler) and husband Nick Benjamin Butler of Edmond, Oklahoma; Lane Carroll Keeler of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Austin Duane Keeler of Ponca City, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Fayelyn Rose Butler of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Holston Jack Heeter of Ponca City, Oklahoma.Martha was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Gladys Marie Chambers; her husband, Otis Duane Keeler; her sisters, Jimmie Lea Chambers, Beverly Sue Focke, and Claryon Marie House; and her brothers, William Boyd Chambers, James Henry "Sonny" Chambers Jr., and Donald Olin Chambers.Serving as pallbearers will be Dewayne Chambers, Brandon Griffitts, Tracy House, Bill Keeler, Matt Pruett, and Roger Sentel. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Focke, Mike House, Jim House, and Larry Klinger.Martha's legacy will live on in the family she loved so deeply the faith she held close, the business she built, and the many memories created around her strength, independence, and determined spirit. To her family, she was more than a mother, nanny, granny, sister, and friend—she was a steady presence, a source of guidance, and an example of what it means to keep going with faith and courage.While our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the love she gave so freely, the lessons she taught through her words and actions, and the lasting mark she leaves on each of us. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and carried with us always.Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City, Oklahoma.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma.In honor of Martha's compassionate spirit and generous heart, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
