Lois Meier

Lois L. Meier, age 84 of Perry, was the daughter of Donald Lee and Naomi Ruth (Huffman) LaMar. She was born on June 19, 1942 in Enid, and passed away at her home.

On May 3, 1960, she and Ray Dean Meier were married in Garber. He preceded her in death in December of 2003.

Lois was a homemaker who enjoyed music, flower gardening, fishing and taking her children and other neighborhood children on fishing trips. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She enjoyed Sunday family dinners at home and loved her family and friends.

Lois moved from Parsons, Kansas to the Perry community in 2006.

Graveside service will be at the Garber Cemetery on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Joshua Bell officiating.

Lois is survived by her sons, James D. Meier of Perry, and Dwayne Willis of Tulsa; daughter, Debbie Bode and husband Dennis of Perry; grandchildren, Shawn D. Meier, Jesse Lee Leslie, Jeremy Ray Bode, Kristan J. Bode (Sayre), Lauren Willis and Whitney Magnon; and great-grandchildren, Harley Dale Meier, Alex Dean Meier and Johnathan Marcus Meier, Gauge Ray, Cord Layne Sayre, Zachary Willis, Emerson Willis, Addie Magnon, Chloe Magnon and Luke Magnon.

She was preceded by her parents, husband and one daughter, Terrie Coates.
