Katherine Wagner

Katherine S. (Ross) Wagner, 73, of Haysville, Kansas, passed away peacefully with her loving husband William "Bill" Wagner by her side. They were married on March 24, 1983.

Kathy was born and raised in Perry, Oklahoma, the daughter of Denzil and Opal Ross. She attended schools in Perry and Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Throughout her career, Katherine built a career in the mortgage industry, serving as a loan officer with Sun Glow, Inc.

Kathy had a love for traveling and experiencing new places, especially alongside her husband. Travel became one of the great joys of their life together, and as the years went by, their sense of adventure only grew. As they got older, they traveled farther, creating countless memories together along the way.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband; two sisters, Shirley Hromas and Joyce Clontz, both of Blackwell, Oklahoma; and one brother, Steve Edgar of Bruceville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Denzil and Opal Ross; her siblings, Billie Henderson, Raedean Goodwin, Norma Rolling, Opal Paige, and Eddie Ross.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home of Perry Chapel, 1408 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077.

Kathy will be remembered for the life she shared with those she loved, her adventurous spirit, and the many memories made during a lifetime filled with family, work, and travel. Her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her will miss her deeply.
