June Buller

June 26, 1949 – June 19, 2026

June Buller

June Buller was born on June 26, 1949, in Cherokee, Oklahoma, to John and Francis Davis. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family and the many memories she created throughout her remarkable life on June 19, 2026. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

June graduated from Helena High School in Helena, Oklahoma, in 1967. A lifelong learner with a passion for helping others, she later returned to school and graduated cum laude from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2005 with a degree in Nursing. Continuing her education, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma in 2013.

On June 12, 1967, June married Carter Buller. Together they shared 32 years of marriage and raised three sons: Troy, Brent, and Shawn. Later, on June 13, 2006, she married Roy Sensintaffar, with whom she shared many happy years.

June devoted her early years of motherhood to caring for her family as a stay-at-home mom. She lovingly sewed many of her children's clothes. As her family grew, she began working at Spray's Jewelry after Carter became a partial owner. She later joined Pelton's, where she worked for many years before pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.

Throughout her nursing career, June served in a variety of roles at Saint Mary's Hospital in Enid, Ponca City Hospital, and Sterling House. Her passion for nursing and education eventually led her to become a Nursing Instructor at Northern Oklahoma College, where she helped inspire and guide future generations of nurses.

June had a deep love for the lake and the time spent there with family and friends. She continued skiing and wakeboarding until her 68th birthday. While she was exceptionally talented behind the boat, her skills in the driver's seat became family legend. After hitting a dock and putting a hole in the boat, she was permanently retired from driving duties-a story that brought laughter for years to come.

June and Roy purchased a dock at Lake Ponca, which they enjoyed until 2012. In July 2024, she proudly purchased another dock at Lake Ponca with her sons. She especially loved hosting Fourth of July celebrations at both locations.

During the winter months, June enjoyed playing cards. No matter the game, the table was always filled with eye-watering laughter, spirited competition, and the joy of being together. Those moments, and her unmistakable laughter, will be deeply missed.

June was preceded in death by her parents, John and Francis Davis, and by her first husband, Carter Buller.

She is survived by her sons and their spouses: Troy and Angela Buller of Ponca City; Brent Buller of Ponca City; and Shawn and Sonya Buller of Ponca City. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Maranda and Austin Sawyer of Sand Springs, Eli Buller of Ponca City, and Braylon Buller of Ponca City; her brothers, Alan Davis of Duncan and Rick Davis of Enid; and her husband, Roy Sensintaffar of Owasso.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29, 2026, at 10:30 a.m at Trout Funeral Home. Following the service, family and friends are invited to join in a dinner honoring June at Dock 14W at Lake Ponca.

June's kindness, determination, sense of humor, and love for her family will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the students she taught, and the family she loved so deeply.
