Jacqueline Huster

Jackie Sue Huster passed away from this life on July 29, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born in Newkirk, OK on December 23, 1947. Daughter of Melvin and Beverly Collyar. She attended 106 Rural School and graduated from Newkirk High School in 1966.She married Jim Huster on October 17, 1979, and together they owned and operated a farm/ranch operation east of Newkirk until his passing in 2013.She was employed by the Newkirk School System for 42 years as school secretary and occasionally a behavior modification specialist. Always with the focus on guiding the kids in all aspects of their lives.She received numerous national awards for her work with Stepp Up and Newkirk FFA. Her hobbies included gardening, canning, crocheting, attending grandkids activities and playing spoons.She was preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by their children, Mark Huster (Amy), Linda Stephens (Brian), Thomas Nichols, Susan Nichols Huster, Michelle Vap (Jeremy). Grandchildren Ryan Richardson, Heath and Haiden Huster, Dax and Pake Stephens, Chancie Penka, Kagan Nichols, Dalley Nichols Huster, Ethan, Lindsay, Cole, Jake and Andy Vap.Five great grandchildren. Siblings Jean Ann Beck, Janet Lockwood, Dean Collyar and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation with the family will be on Friday August 14, 2026 from 5-7 pm at Miller Stahl Funeral Home in Newkirk. Graveside will be Saturday August 15, 2026, at 10:00 am at Newkirk Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Newkirk FFA care of Michelle Vap 2451 LaCann Rd. Newkirk, OK 74647
