Cecil Lattimer

Cecil Chester Lattimer was born in Perry, Oklahoma, on August 22, 1962, to Polly and Wilbur Lattimer.

Cecil graduated in 1979, at 16 years old, from Wellington, Kansas.

Cecil married Janet in 1979, and they had three children: Cecil, Justin, and Christopher. They would later divorce. Cecil then married Maggie, who brought with her three step-children: Johnny, Josh, and Angie. Cecil would divorce Maggie, and then dated Shirley for fourteen years.

After high school, Cecil enlisted in the US Army in 1984, and was discharged in 1989. Cecil had many careers which included Boeing, machining at Strickland’s where he got his CDL and started towing. Cecil bought his own semi, retired, and then came out of retirement working for LB White, DbarB, Butler, and end his trucking career at Sun Valley.

Cecil enjoyed retirement with his life long best friend, his dog, Snowflake. Cecil and Snowflake went to the casino together.

Cecil is preceded in death by both parents, Polly and Wilbur Lattimer; a brother, Charles Lattimer; and nephew, Tyler Lattimer.

He is survived by his dog, Snowflake; brothers Eugene Lattimer and wife Paula of Hunnewell, Kansas. Ray Lattimer and wife Tiffany of Braman, Oklahoma; sister, Ellen Booth of Wellington, Kansas; all of his children and step children; multiple grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2026, in the Braman Cemetery.
