It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Belinda Ann Morris (B), she was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 18, 2026, at 53 years of age at her home in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Belinda had an unwavering faith, a spirituality deep love, and a generous spirit. She lived her life trusting in God and sharing that love with everyone around her. She was deeply loved by her son, family, friends, and coworkers; she loved hard, and gave so much of herself unconditionally, never expecting anything in return.
Belinda was born on January 27, 1973, in Amboy, Illinois. Proceeded in death by her parents, Billy Edward, Morris, and Lucinda Ann Morris. After her family relocated to Ponca City in 1979. Belinda and her brothers grew up with strong examples of work ethic, character, integrity, and kindness taught by their loving parents. These values remained with Belinda throughout her life with a sweet soul and fierce heart as she left intentional comfort, joy, and meaningful connections wherever she went.
Belinda graduated high school in 1991 where she was involved in basketball, didn’t know a stranger and had many friends.
Belinda dedicated her career to serving others. Her employment included Fat & Skinnies, Mediclaim’s, Oklahoma Cancer Center, White Eagle Tribe, TPI Staffing. Belinda was driven by a natural warmth, infectious smile and laugh that lit up any room she entered.
Belinda leaves behind her beloved and adored son Job Martin of her home, her fiancé Gregg Jenkins of Ponca City, her brothers whom she loved dearly, Nick Morris (wife) Mandy of Ponca City, Dean Morris (wife Tonja) of Ponca City.
Her warmth and laughter will be missed by her cherished nieces and nephews, Lexi Morris, Niki Morris, Danika Irons, Brady Martin, Ryan Turnipseed, Dalton Turnipseed and so many others that thought of her as Aunt B!
Belinda’s life was enriched by her devoted chosen sisters for life, whom she loved, Daniele Jones, Joyce Calicchio-Kelly, Laura Weaver and Lona Calicchio-Westerman.
Beyond her family, Belinda leaves a beautiful legacy of friendship. She was blessed with countless friends whose lives were touched by her laughter, empathy, love, and unwavering friendship. The memory she created, and the love she gave will live on in the heart of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
The things that gave Belinda joy in her free time were writing poetry and sharing it with her son, working in her garden, spending peaceful time in the pasture with her horses and loving on all her fur babies, attending Church, Sunday school, and scrapbooking. Having fun soaking up the sun by the pool with her besties and dancing to their favorite music, boating, riding on her Harley, and cheering loudly for her beloved Oklahoma Sooners.
Belinda was deeply committed to giving back to her community, dedicating a decade of service through her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi Eta Zeta, forming a bond of friendships. She was a courageous cancer survivor and involved in charitable-walks and programs-including Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Light The Night Walk. Whether walking the survivor lap or rallying support for a cure, she embodied strength, hope and determination as a survivor!
Her son Job was her first, last and continuous thoughts. Being an actively involved parent was very important to her. Belinda wanted to be a mother more than anything else in her life, and when God blessed her with her son Job, her heart was filled beyond words. He is her pride and joy, especially as he shares his musical talent. She loved watching her son and was one of the proudest and loudest band moms in the stands. She gave her time and energy to support the entire band program and her son while she proudly cheered him on as a dedicated member of Po-high’s big blue band!
Belinda was truly a blessing. The deep imprint she left on so many hearts speaks for itself. She was larger than life and the love she gave will never be forgotten.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 10 am at First Lutheran Church, 1101 N. 4th St., Ponca City, OK 74601. Pastor Joseph Highley will be officiating. A graveside service will follow immediately at Resthaven Cemetery, 1901 E. Hubbard Road immediately following memorial.
