
On Thursday morning August 6, 2026, at 7:30 Anthony Primeaux, 79, decided to go back to his teenage years of hitch hiking & headed to Ponca Pow-wow to camp with his brother Craig. He entered this world November 5", 1946, born to Amos White Star Primeaux & Nancy LeClair Primeaux. He was a member of the Ponca Tribe, spending younger years growing up in White Eagle, he attended both Ponca Indian Baptist and Methodist church and went to the old White Eagle School as well as Ft. Sill and Chilocco Indian School.
Ansh worked in various jobs throughout his life time, got his CNA License and became a driver, worked for OKC Public Schools, the Oklahoma State Fair, and was a welder. He was also the head chef at home. He enjoyed cooking and going to Casinos. Ansh as he was known to many was a gifted athlete in all sports. He was a big fan of the OU Sooners & OKC Thunder.
Anthony is survived by Judy, His partner and best friend for 47 years, they were inseparable. Children Trena,Donna, CB, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also survived by the kids he helped raise Blue Roy, Paris Roy, Teece, Faith, Angel & Sky who were on the receiving end of his cooking and banana splits. Siblings: Minnie, Ginger, Roger of Wichita, Anna Little Raven Chaney of OKC and Numerous family members and friends. He was a kind man who had unconditional love for everyone but if you didn't do something he asked "you were jack yellow"
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Craig, Frank, Joe, and Houston; sisters Opal, Mary Aguilera, Elvira Stoufe, Kathleen Kemble and Freda Gallardo.
